Emily Brown, now there is one girl who obsesses over her hair. The morning routine is get up, shower, dry hair, style hair. Then she'll brush it several times during the day, and after school she will probably go out and find something new to put in it or buy a new dye. Emily's hair falls to just below her waist, but rarely all meets that point with the extravagant hairstyles she normally pulls it into. Naturally in straight black bangs the teenager still dyed in several brightly colour streaks that included neon pink and electric blue. However the teenage girl also owns several sets of orange, green and purple extensions which will often be incorporated into her hairstyle. There is the common joke about what would happy if Emily's straighteners broke, simply because she replies on them so much. If her hair is not straight, then its curled, if its not curled its tied up in some crazy hairstyle with the aid of straighteners. Basically the teenage girl relies on her straightners almost as much as she relies on her eyeliner. The only people to have seen her without use of her straightenrs are the gang, and that was only when she was asleep and they unknowlingly to her spied on the teenager. Surprisingly through all of the things she does to her hair it is in fantastic condition, due to Emily's OCD of taking care of her hair. Not that it's a bad thing, gives her something to do doesn't it?
As for her face? Well Emily is blessed with a completley flawless porcelain doll like face. With pale skin, flushed with a light pink tint, you could imagine her wrapped in a big coat and scarf playing in the snow. From the ages of about twelve to fifteen Emily was not so blessed with the signs of spots. Until recently copious amounts of concealer had been used to cover said spots and now the occasional lurker gets covered as well. Emily is incredibly vain, and spends a lot of time in the morning making sure she looks how she wants too. The most startling aspect of Emily's face is probably her eyes. Electric blue sapphires glinting beneath rows of dark eyelashes. In bright light her eyes often changed to an icy blue colour, which is why most photos of her with flash give this effect however in dim light her eyes darken to a deep blue. Emily's eyes are key in how to read her emotions. Even if her face is carefully masked her eyes will give her away almost instantly. Her eyes shine brightly in almost any situation, linked to her optimistic character. However when the situation is not in her favour, Emily knows her weakness and probably won't make eye contact, or very little. As with her hair her face commands a lot of time in the mornings to make sure she likes her image. Normally eyeliner is the first to follow the little foundation she might use. Not huge amounts of eyeliner really for everyday, but enough to say more than average. Emily has a large collection of bright eyeshadows that are normally contrasted together, or with the help of false eyelashes bring out her eyes even more. She loves to look unique, and her make up certainly reflects that.
Now Emily is only a small girl. For sixteen she is very short, but built in such a way it wouldn't matter. Measuring a mere five foot two inches she can still buy from the kids sections in half the shops around today. She is thin, but not to the point of being bony. With subtle curves that clothes cling to and longish legs on accordance to her height she can wear almost any clothes she wants. The teenager has not only a very small stature but also small hands and feet, measuring a size four. As you would expect for someone so small she is incredibly light in comparison to most. It is quite easy to just pick her up and carry her, much to her distaste. The few years of her life she spent dancing built up muscles in the girls arms and legs but when she started school she had to give up these pass times for the sake of her education and in time the muscles slowly broke down. Now you're probably thinking, small girl = small chest? Your probably right, measuring a tiny 28B, but it could be worse. She does not have the body of an eight year old on any accounts, and knows how to highlight the key features of her figure to ensure she does in fact look the age she is.
Emily has probably got one of the most unique clothing styles ever. Nothing in her wardrobe is a pale or pastel colour, everything being bright, black or white. Her clothes vary from skinny fit jeans, to flares, to mini skirts, to hot pants, to combats. From time to time Emily Brown has even been known to wear a dress! Yes a dress. If something has hello kitty on it Emily will more like likely wear it. Emily loves shoes, and owns millions. Due to her height she owns a lot of platform boots actually, but still comes to no higher than the shoulder of most of her friends. Her clothes tend to cover the bottom of her back to hide the tattoo she had done over the summer. It's a heart with two wings coming out of the back, if you understand. She loves it but keeps it covered as a matter of politeness. Not many adults like seeing innocent girls with tattoos do they? She also has her right eyebrow pierced but rarely wears the piercing. All in all Emily is a bit of a mismatch in more ways than one. She even makes school uniform different, adding her own perks like socks, hairclips, badges.... You name it. The robes don't quite look the same on Emily, maybe because she refitted them to suit her a bit more. Emily's personality is a big input into her clothing and her appearence, but who'd change it? =D

You know what was funny? Waking up from a night out and finding out you didn't have a hangover, even though you'd drunk loads, and then your friend who barely drunk anything had a huge headache? Yes it was funny. That was what Emily was hoping to find with Charlie. She'd dragged him out the night before and had been in one of those extrememly down moods meaning she had drunk far more than she should have. Meanwhile Charlie had a few drinks and this girl had started flirting with her which had made Emily laugh so hard she fell off her chair. Now she had a lovely big bruise over her right thigh where she'd landed on the floor. Note to self, never go to that bar again, it was a bit of a dodgy place... She'd been asked out seven times, been offered drugs three and been able to buy drinks far too easily. Still, it had been a good laugh, especcially when her and Charlie tried dancing, that was just hilarious. They'd done the whole sixties style thing and disco dancing and everything. They'd been chucked out about then... Still it was a great night... Emily didn't go out with Charlie much, it wasn't his scene. She normally went out with Felix or someone, but it was a nice change. He was a crazy person was Charlie and always a good person to have around. He was one of Emily's best friends and she loved him to pieces. Him and Felix were some of the most important people in her life. They were both completley different, but both incredibly similiar. Felix was more crazy and drama orientated while Charlie was quieter and far more interested in music. Then Emily was the mental one who was vair loud and loved music, art and drama. So it was all amazingly good.
Emily woke up that morning slightly bleary eyes but otherwise fine. Her head seemed perfectly fine and she could walk in a straight line, woot no signs of her slightly pissed-ness the night before. She really shouldn't get into those sort of moods, drinking wasn't a good idea. Emily had a high metabolism yes, but she didn't like drinking really. She didn't like alcohol, it tasted nasstyyy. Still she'd drunk it, she was such an idiot. At least she hadn't taken the speed dudes kept offering too her. With one she'd asked the price and he'd said a quickie in the bedroom suited him. She'd felt Charlie's hand grasp her arm then and squeeze it lightly. Emily had nearly slapped him, not Charlie, the other dude. It had been however an entertaining evening, so yeah. Pulling herself out of bed she threw the covers off it onto the floor and left the curtains shut as she walked across the landing to the bathroom. Of course who was in there? No one other than Ryan. He wasn't even meant to be at her house... Why was he? He must have given her a lift home the night before. After repeatedly yelling at him to get out of the shower he finally opened the door and walked across to the only spare room in her flat in the entirity of a tiny towel around his waist. Even if he was her foster brother, he was sitll incredibly hot. Long black hair streaked with blue and toned body... Come on any girl would think that was hott. Just 'cause he had been her brother for the last eleven years didn't mean she couldn't think so too right? Whatever even if it was wrong she didn't care. Finally the shower was free and as soon as she walked into the room she walked straight out again. Eww it stank of men! Emily waited a few minutes before going back in and locking the door behind her. Aahh sanctuary. Emily loved nothing more than a nice hot shower.
Pulling off her jimjams she turned on the hot tap of the shower and stepped under the water. Ah it felt nice. Her muscles relaxed all along her shoulders and back which she hadn't noticed were tense. Life was slightly stressy right now. She'd only just come back from staying with her foster parents over Christmas. She was already behind on her artwork and was going to have to use her free periods today to pratise her music. Emily shut her eyes gently and let the water was over her, washing away the last of the tenseness in her muscles. The water was like a medicine to her, relaxing and cleansing at the same time. Taking her body scrub she rubbed it over her shoulders and arms, taking away the dirt and sweat before rubbing generous amounts of shampoo deep into the roots of her long hair. It took forever to wash her hair, simply where there was so much of it. She also shampooed it twice then conditioned it which was even more time. Her average shower was twenty minutes, and that was a quick one. Rubbing a strawberry body wash over herself she smiled to herself, it smelt very pretty. Slowly she finished her shower and washed the last remenants of conditioner out of her hair. Pulling back the curtain slightly she grabbed one of the large fluffy towels from the rack and wrapped it around her small form before stepping out of the shower. Then she wrapped another towel around her hair and rubbed it roughly to dry it slightly before she walked back to her room. Flopping onto her bed she stared at the cieling before deciding she most definatley had to get dressed.
Drying herself off she threw clothes on roughly. She couldn't be bothered with anything matching today meaning she ended up in grey and black zebra print skinny jeans and a bright blue top. She actually looked pretty good. Emily could pull off a lot of looks, and the crazy one definatley suited her the most. With the usual drying of her hair and applying of make up. A bright yellow eyeshadow was her choice today. Woot clashing colours rocked. No wonder Emily caused such a riot at college, she didn't exactly try to blend in did she? Pulling her new white and blue starry hoody on and wrapping a white scarf around her neck she grabbed her hello kitty rucksack and yelled at Ryan to stay out of her kitchen. She could smell burning along the hallway and cursed as she found him cooking over her little oven in the small flat. Ryan my landlord is gonna kill me if you burn this flat down she warned him before grabbing her keys and leaving her flat for college. Once out of her flat she walked down the stairs to the ground floor and out the door. Her motorbike was parked just at the edge of the small car park where she mounted it and kicked the engine into life. With a roar it accelerated and she left the flats behind as she hit the main road. It didn't take long to get to college from here but the traffic on London roads was normally awful. As usual it was but the motorbike enabled her to skip the cars and make it in time for her first lesson. Walking into the classroom she put her bag on the table and smiled at the members of the class who didn't want to kill her. Emily made notes like the rest of the class for the hour and a half before leaving it for her free period. Now she actually needed to work so the music room would have to wait while she made her way to the library. However the hour and a half was not long enough for the english essay she had to start.
She only got the first few pages written up in rough before she had to leave for the next lot of students on free period. Where else could she go? She did need to work on her music... Walking through the college her converse made no sound against the polished wooden floor. She loved her shoe collection, 12 pairs of converse and 8 pairs of vans. Then 2 pairs of new rock boots and 3 pairs of babyshams. The only ones that ever made a noise through the college were her new rocks, she was able to walk everywhere else silently. These particular converse were bright blue with pink lightning bolts all over them. Then they had odd laces of bright green and bright yellow. Oohh she loved them. She had her way slowly through the mass of corridors until she found her way out of the endless maze. The music block was the other side of the school.... Oh brilliant. This was why everyone at college was super thin and healthy. They didn't starve themselves... They just took both english and music daily. The walk must be about half a mile across the campus. She'd already lost half a stone since she'd started in October the year before. She ate loads bearing in mind. Emily was a sweets kind of girl. She loved ice cream and chocolate and chips and fatty foods. She was lucky though, she had a high metabolism and an active lifestyle that mainly involved chasing Ryan so she was pretty safe. Urgh she was craving something to eat then actually... She hadn't had any breakfast and was in need of a cup of tea. Stopping at the cafeteria she grabbed a over large tea and a big packet of cookies before continuing her way over the the music department.
Murff why was it such a long way? Sipping her hot and vair sweet tea she nudged open the door of the music department and held it open with her shoulder as she wrestled with her hello kitty that had got caught on the hinges. Argh. Walking through she looked for an empty room to practise in and smiled when she saw one that was empty all except for a blonde haired boy a year older than her who she knew very well. Pushing open the door she leant against the frame sipping her tea while the cookie hung by her side. Guess who she said with a small giggle and nudged him along on his piano stool so she could sit on the edge. Throwing her rucksack onto the floor she went to look at what he was playing when she noticed he had no music. Aww no fair! Emily was good at piano, grade five to be exact. However she couldn't beat Charlie which was just not fair. Hey there was one instrument she could beat him at. Oh how she loved her bass guitar. Come on she even had the hat to go with it. Her hat was amazing. She'd worn it while painting the inside of a wardrobe bright pink so it had small bits of bright pink paints on it. Then she'd just splattered it with more for the artistic look. Emily liked artsy stuff, it suited her. How are you my little vodka addict of a friend? she teased and nudged his shoulder gently while planting a little kiss on his cheek. She was a flirt shu'up xD She tinkered with a couple of the higher keys, playing an evanescence right hand to a song except two octives higher than it should have been. It sounded like a little music box song, it was so pretty<3 Emily liked pretty things, she had ots of them at home. Not to mention Charlie's hair was vair vair pretty<3
